Our Ports

Since more than 20 years, the SAS Baltic is active as agent in all ports of Mecklenburg Pomerania. Due to the excellent location of our offices we are flexible to reach all ports in Stralsund, Mukran, Vierow, Wolgast and Ladebow quickly.

Port Mukran

Mukran Port is located on the north side of the island Rügen and is at the same time the easternmost deepest seaport. With a maximum draft of 10.5 meters Mukran Port is the fifth largest harbor along the German coastline. It is an attractive industrial, commercial and logistical location with a solid perspective for the handling and storage of agricultural goods. Mukran Port is the largest German railway ferry terminal, which provides standard gauge as rail and transshipment terminals for Russian broad gauge to transfer Russian rail and roro units. Mukran Port remains unique in the matter for a compulsory pilot and tug boat for vessels with an LOA of 135 meters. In some special cases, an exemption by the Port Authority can be obtained. It will be applied with the information of the technical data sheet provided by the respective vessel.

Port Vierow

The port of Vierow is located on the south bank of the Greifswalder Bodden. In the past few years, it has developed into the second-strongest handling hub for grain and feed in Mecklenburg-Pomerania. Two berths with a length of 140 and 120 meters provide optimal conditions for mooring/unmooring. The maximum draft is 6.50 meters.

Port Stralsund

Stralsund Port is with its 22 berths as well as the excellent connection to the ring road, a favorable industrial and logistical harbor. The ports focus is related to steel sheets and products for power plants such as gypsum.
